About Us

For over 60 years, Dave Booth Taxidermy has been a leader in the taxidermy and tanning industry, creating lifelike mounts and world-class tanning for hunters, outfitters, and collectors. Originally founded in British Columbia by Dave Booth, the business transitioned into a tanning studio and later moved to Alberta in 1995, where it became one of the largest taxidermy studios in the province.

In 2013, Brody Teale—Dave’s grandson—joined the business, helping it grow into an industry leader. Today, we employ a skilled team of artists and offer taxidermy, tanning, skull cleaning, and international trophy shipping to clients worldwide. Our mission is to preserve your hunting memories with expert craftsmanship and care, ensuring that every mount tells a story that lasts a lifetime.

Brody Teale

As the grandson of Dave Booth, Brody Teale grew up immersed in the world of taxidermy and the outdoors. From a young age, he spent time in the shop, first working on small game like squirrels, then quickly advancing to larger projects, falling in love with the craft. Since 2013, he has worked full-time in taxidermy, specializing in mammal mounts while overseeing all studio operations.

Brody and his family are deeply rooted in the hunting, fishing, and outdoor lifestyle, which fuels his passion for the industry. He is committed to his clients and their trophies, ensuring each mount is done with exceptional quality and attention to detail. Under his leadership, Dave Booth Taxidermy continues to grow, preserving hunting memories for generations to come.
